Follow-up

To support accessible practices beyond the workshop, the MOS team planned to call each institution represented at the workshop at three-, six-, and nine-month intervals. The team asked institution representatives specific questions related to their progress toward conducting an access inventory and writing a transition/implementation plan.

Research on professional development consistently points to the importance of follow-up, including establishing and sustaining networks. These periodic contacts reinforced the goals of the workshop, while helping to disseminate solutions and resources.
